Healthy Eating

In line with Ofsted guidelines and concerns about the health and welfare of our children it is important to ensure that healthy eating is promoted and that children are encouraged to make informed decisions about the food they eat. Adequate and nutritious food and drink are essential for your child’s well being.

When preparing snacks and meals for your child I will ensure that they are healthy and nutritious. Your child will be provided with regular drinks of water and food will be provided in adequate quantities for his or her needs. It will be properly prepared and will comply with any dietary or religious requirements as discussed and agreed with yourselves, allowing for any preferences and food allergies.

Sweets may be given as a treat occasionally.
